Please Pray!

Would you consider adding the following or a similar prayer to your Prayers of the People on a regular (perhaps weekly) basis in your congregation?

Lord, we pray that the truth that has been entrusted to us and the lessons we have learned will not be hidden from the next generation. Grant us every grace we need to make known to our children, even the children yet unborn, the path that leads to life.

Make us a generation of parents, grandparents, and church members who will teach younger generations your ways and how to walk according to biblical truth, so that they might set their hope and confidence in you and not forget your good works. May we be a generation who brings good news to each successive generation so that all may know your truth and the gospel of grace. Amen

Generation Z who currently span our elementary schools through colleges are the least reached, least churched generation in America today! Only 4% have a biblical worldview, which means those that do are immersed in 96% who do not. Nearly 1/3 of GenZ say they have no trusted adults in their lives. 45% feel as if no-one understands them. It should not surprise us that we now face a generation who does not know the LORD. (Judges 2:10) And that everyone does what is right in their own eyes. (Judges 21:25)

The gospels remind us that Jesus had compassion for the lost "because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” And he assures us “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:36–38)

Prayer Team

If you would like to receive updates on specific ways to pray for the Young Anglicans ministry, please complete the form below.

God is doing more and more great things among the young people of the ACNA! And as our ministry to teenagers grow, we need more prayer!

We’re starting a group of intercessors to minister in prayer on behalf of the young people of the ACNA and those who work with them.

We’ll send out monthly intercession emails with points of prayer (like upcoming events, and cultural struggles that our families face...) and points of praise (things that we see the Lord doing among our kids), and we’re asking for people willing to lift these things up before the Lord regularly!

Will you please pray about being a part of this important ministry? If you feel called or are interested, please sign up below.
